Regal Theatre and Cinema

The Regal cinema in Teme Street opened on 29th July 1937 and was decorated by fine art deco murals painted by the celebrated artist George Legg. Thanks to an £800,000 National Lottery Grant in 2011, work is now finished in bringing this historic building back to its best. The whole building has being renovated for the 21st century with new frontage, toilets, heating, sound system etc. but it retains its original art deco appearance.

The renovation has been a huge success and bookings can now be made for tours of the building.

A full list of films and theatrical events are available and details can be found at www.regaltenbury.co.uk or phone 01584 811442 or call in at the Theatre.  There is also a link to the Regal web site on our useful websites page.

As well as a ‘walk in’ box office facility you will now be able to complete on line bookings for films and shows and book over the telephone
