Shopping in Tenbury Wells

Shopping in Tenbury Wells

Tenbury is a bustling lively town with many long established businesses. There are no major supermarkets, but this does not mean you are stuck for choice

Barnfields

Banfields hardware shop is one of those special places that seem to have disappeared from our high streets. From fork handles to four candles, they stock it. Likewise the other hardware shop is Caldicotts where you can buy everything from a nail to a lorry load of cement.

Clockhouse

Both the Clockhouse and The Food Hall provide high quality meats, cheese and vegetables.

Richard C Swift Ltd bake some of the best organic bread in the Midlands.

There is a  fresh fish shop which always has a wide selection of fish from British shores and beyond.

Tenbury has a selection of quirky bick-a-brack and antique shops. Always worth a look for a hidden treasure!

Books Books Books provides a bit of Hay on Wye in Tenbury. Always a friendly welcome with a wide selection of titles on many subjects.

Shopping in Tenbury Wells-2

If you are looking for something really special. Charming Interiors has a great selection of work by local and regional artists. Another example of a quality artist is Darren Pugh Design. The shop is stocked with some really interesting designer jewellery.

The town also has a good selection of fruit and vegetable shops and it's own small supermarket - Bowketts.

A Spar, open every day from 7am until 11pm will provide for most needs including newspapers, alcohol and groceries.

There are a selection of men's and women's hairdressers and also clothes and shoe shops.

We still have our own post office and a library with internet access.
